Thuparamaya Stupa
Location : Ancient city of Anuradhapura in North Central Province
Importance : Thuparamaya Stupa is an ancient stupa built by King Devanampiyatissa during the 3 rd century of BC. Thuparamaya is the first Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. This Stupa is enshrining the Sacred right clavicle relic of the Lord Buddha.
