Why You should visit Beira Lake: Beira Lake is situated in the city of Colombo. It consists with several sub lakes but among them South West Lake is developed for recreational activities. There is an Island and nice pedestrian foot bridge to connect it. Tourists can enjoy Swan boat ride also. There are shopping complexes and restaurants near the Beira lake.
