Rankoth Wehera / Rankoth Stupa is an ancient Buddhist stupa located in the ancient city of Polonnaruwa in Sri Lanka. The stupa was built by King Nissankamalla of Polonnaruwa, during the 12 th century. Rankoth Vehera was made entirely by using brick, and has a base diameter of 550 feet (170 m) and a height of 108 feet (33 m).
