Nissankalatha Mandapaya is a unique building in Polonnaruwa built by King Nissankamalla during the 12 th century. This building was used to listen “Pirith” (chanting of Buddhist scriptures) to getting the blessings. This is very scenic and nice building with unique architectural features.
