Atadage is also a Relic house located in ancient city of Polonnaruwa. It was built by king Vijayabahu I to keep the Sacred Relic of the tooth of the Lord Buddha during the 11 th century. This building multi story building and built on stone pillars. It is believed that, this is the only surviving building of the king Vijayabahu I.
