2.Victoria Park
Victoria park is the main park in Nuwara Eliya. It is very attractive park with lot of local and foreign trees. It is also a very good place for bird watchers.
3.Hakgala Botanical garden
Hakgala is the second largest botanical garden in Sri Lanka and it is situated on the Nuwara Eliya- Badulla main road, 16 km from Nuwara Eliya. The garden has a cool temperate climate because of altitude is 5,400 feet above the sea level. The mean annual temperature ranges between 16 °C to 25 °C. There are over 10,000 species of flora planted in this garden and during the Spring season most of visitors come to see the flowers. This garden is very famous for various species of Orchids and Roses.
4.Horton Plains National Park
Horton Plain National Park is the coldest national park in Sri Lanka with the altitude of 2100 m above mean sea level. It consists of large number of endemic flora and fauna species and various ecosystems such as Montane evergreen forests, grasslands, marshy lands and aquatic ecosystem.
